It is not possible to convert ordinary files into .U3P files. It is only U3 Smart Applications that are .U3P and can be installed to the U3 Launchpad.
Files can be copied to the storage area in the normal manner. The storage area can be accessed by clicking on the Explore U3 Drive button on the Launchpad.
