An update for the disgo Tablet 6000 is now available. For further details, please click HERE.
If you are having slow-down issues with your Tablet 6000 after completing the update, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
Turn off the Automatic Time/Date setting.
You can access this setting; Settings > Date & Time. Touch the first line ‘Automatic’ in order to remove the green tick mark. Now please press the reset button on the Rear of the device. This will turn the device off. Finally, please turn the Tablet 6000 on.
Please also disconnect the Tablet 6000 from the wireless network.
- Please turn off your wireless router.
- Now touch the ’Wi-Fi settings’ icon on the Tablet and touch your wireless network name, touch ‘Forget’.
- Turn off Wi-Fi on the Tablet (green tick mark is removed).
- Turn on the Wireless Router and wait 1-2 minutes before turning the Tablet’s Wi-Fi on again.
- Connect to the local wireless network as before.
- The Tablet has now refreshed the wireless signal should be connected to the wireless network again.

Update 1.1 – 17th December 2010
An update is now available for the disgo Tablet 6000 with the following benefits:
• New user interface including one extra widget home page
• Easy-to-use power icon for Standby and Power off option
• Improved Video playback on SkyFire browser
• USB drive can be connected via either micro USB slot.
• Sound recorder application added
• New more robust file system interface (My Device)
• Automatic Time/Date settings (requires Wi-Fi)
• Now possible to copy files to and from MicroSD card and USB drive.
Please note: This update does not apply to devices running the 2.2 version of the Android Operating System. For further information on the 2.2 version of the Tablet 6000, please click here
Please carry out the following in order to update your Tablet device.
Remember to backup any personal files before completing the update. Also, please safely remove the MicroSD card before carrying out the update.
• From home screen, scroll from right to left to get to the main app window.
• Touch the Menu icon in the top-right of the screen and then touch the ‘Add Application’ icon.
• Scroll down to the ‘System update’ option and select. The System Update icon will now appear on the main screen.
• Please note; the Tablet must be connected to a wireless network in order to update successfully.
• Touch this icon and touch OK to start the update. Update should take 5 – 10 minutes depending on internet speed.
• When update is complete, press the Reset button on the rear of the Tablet as requested and turn the unit on again.
The Tablet should now be updated.
