We are sorry to advise that physical damage such as screen damage is not covered by warranty.
As the screen (LCD module and touch digitizer) constitutes the highest proportion of the cost of the bill of materials, when combined with logistics and labour charges on an individual unit basis it is not feasible to offer a paid for repair service.
Similarly we are also unable to offer the LCD module and digitizer as an after-market component spare for this reason amongst other factors.
We regret that we are unable to assist you in this matter.
If the device or screen was damaged out of the packaging, please advise the place of purchase immediately.
Regrettably, it is not possible to reset a password on the Net Browser device.
If the device is not working as expected, it may have become corrupt which would cause a corrupt password to be set on the device.
This would cause the password you have set initially to not be recognised by the device.
In this event, we would advise that you return the device to the place of purchase under the sale of goods act.
If the device becomes damaged, please return the device to the place of purchase.
Regrettably, it is not possible to carry out any repairs to the device.
When a memory card is connected to SD1 or SD2 on the Tablet, go to the Applications page and open the OI File Manager.
Here, touch the ‘MNT’ icon at the top and then tap ’sdcard1′ or ’sdcard2′. sdcard1 is the top USB port.
Please note:
- SD card slot 2 will be shown with path /mnt/sdcard1 by the system to all applications
- SD card slot 1 will be shown with path /mnt/sdcard2 by the system to all applications
The same applies for a USB flash drive which is connected to the Tablet.
